Summer is here, yay!

Every year, I invest in one accessory that will carry me through the summer. It can be anything from shoes, to a hat to a scarf or a bag. Picking out one accessory means you need to really put in a lot of though into what you want to get.

Some of the accessories I’ve picked in the past years have been, an Alexander McQueen Scarf, a boater hat from H&M, Dior So Real sunglasses, just to show the variety, in pieces, brands and price points.

Having done this for a few years now, I have come up with a check list of points to keep in mind when picking an accessory that will carry you through the whole season (maybe longer).

1. Can I wear it with every single outfit this summer?
2. Can I wear it in multiple ways?
3. Does it transition well from day to night?
4. If the item is not high- street, what is the cost per wear? Will the price justify the cost per wear?
5. Is it unique?

When I saw this Sophie Hulme bag, I knew it was perfect for the summer. It ticked every single box in my check list and above all, its so pretty!
