For as long as I can remember, my favourite kind of jacket has been the trench coat. I’ve never thought much about why I liked it, but the recent bad weather in Dubai got me thinking about it. The reason I like the trench coat is because I actually love the time of the year one can wear a trench coat. A trench is the perfect outer wear for spring, when it is still a bit nippy outside but sunny at the same time.
This dusty pink coat screams spring! Being a muted colour, it is the perfect neutral colour for spring and can be paired with any outfit. Since it is quite cold in Dubai currently, I paired it with a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers for a casual but cosy look. The unlined scuba material kept me warmer than I thought it would.
All in all, this coat is the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.
On a side note, Which side of the dusty pink vs. dusky pink battle do you sit on? What do you call this shade? I know, I can’t pick a side because I googled both colour pantones twice, couldn’t decide which shade was closest to the coat and then just went for the first one I thought of.
